What's Next?
6/15/26
It's crazy how fast time goes by. It's already been a whole two weeks since Horizons released, and I've already started conceptualizing new releases and other upcoming projects. In addition, the website's been redesigned to better fit the future of senter. Anyways, there are three different projects I want to talk about...
Release 1: Echoes of Tethys Collab
We've been talking, and we agreed that Hypgnot: Deluxe is a project for later. In the meantime, we've been discussing a new collaboration. Whether a single, album, or EP, we both think it's around the time for another collaboration to take place. The last collaboration between us took place around a year ago with the release of Elements. Since then, we've both grown in music production skill through our individual album releases. We're both excited to see what we can create together now!
Release 2: Transcendence
Transcendence is my most thought-out upcoming release, including its own plot, song titles, and gimmicks. Transcendence's songs are three parts of a cycle, those being Breakup, Static, and Reunion. These three titles can refer to two different things: relationships and communications. Transcendence is about an astronaut and his lover connected by a satellite that doesn't have a stable connection.
The other gimmick of Transcendence is that all three songs will be able to fit together to form one unified song, being titled Transcendence. That song will release later, after the EP. Whether the combined song ultimately happens is something I'm still deciding.
Release 3: Lifeline
This is the release I'm most excited about. I originally conceptualized this as a collab between EoT and I, but after realizing that there wasn't enough of a story to fit into a whole album, I changed it to be a song I'm currently working on.
Lifeline's original concept was describing a man whose life is quite literally represented on a line. As I considered how that would work, the concept ended up growing into something more general: using our time wisely while we're on this Earth.
The special part of Lifeline is that it's the first song I've written lyrics for. This is a new experience for me, as I've never been one for creating lyrical music, but I feel like my creative process has gotten to the point where some ideas can't be conveyed by instruments. Just so you can see a little bit of what my lyric-writing style is, here's the chorus...
your life lives on the line
if it runs out your time is up
no days to waste, you can't catch up
you've only got one shot
your life lives on the line
and when it runs out your clock is done
and just like that you've run your run
in this great race of time
To Wrap Up...
Overall, I have three releases I'm working on, in different stages of production: a collaboration with Echoes of Tethys, Transcendence, and Lifeline. I don't have a solid release date for any of them, but if I had to guess, Lifeline will come out first, followed by either the EoT collab or Transcendence.
Thank you all (again) for all of the support you've shown Relief and Horizons, and I can't wait to share more about these upcoming projects as they develop!
